I expect this game to work far more similarly to Bioshock. These GPUs can do a nice job of Bioshock Infinite, but get their ass kicked by Metro: Exodus Game benchmarks seem to support that it will be fine. That higher throughput may mitigate the lack of video memory: the GPU may not have quite enough, but it can move things in and out of memory much faster than anything in 2016 could. The computer overall is many generations more advanced than what the game requires, and the CPU power and memory throughput are certainly much faster, even compared to the recommended specs.
I thought it would be slam dunk yes or no, but that video memory doesn't make it so easy to predict. It might be fine, but it also might have trouble with larger scenes. Using video card benchmarks as a basic tool for comparison, your Iris is right in the neighborhood of the minimum requirement cards.īUT you're half a gig short on the video memory compared to those cards.
